《幸彤在監獄》 伯克利放映 SHE'S IN JAIL in Berkeley 🇺🇸
「当权力的行使建基于谎言，生而为人，只能不服从。」为此，邹幸彤在诸多罪名指控下，仍然选择不认罪。 不止是据理力争，更争取每一次出庭陈词，令法官无法速战速决为支联会「定性」和「定罪」，至少将法官的无理与不济记录下来。
邹幸彤大律师，前支联会副主席，香港人权运动者，被控于2021年6月4日在网上宣传及呼吁他人参与六四集会，判囚15个月；及后与支联会主席 李卓人、副主席何俊仁和邹幸彤，被控「煽动颠覆国家政权罪」，还押至今近2年半。
29原则与柏克莱加州大学香港事务组、湾区华语社群擦星星事务所共同举办本次纪录片北美首映会，诚邀各位一起观看幸彤的故事，学习事情脉络、了解这项举步维艰却 不能放弃的民主运动。 与此同时，我们荣幸邀请到前学联秘书长周永康出席映后分享。
"She's In Jail" is a documentary dedicated to Hong Kong human rights lawyer and Chinese labor rights advocate Chow Hang-tung. Having earned at least five major international human rights awards, Chow is most known for her steadfast efforts in organizing annual vigils commemorating the 1989 Tiananmen crackdown, alongside relentless sacrifices made to safeguard the protection of democratic values and human rights in Hong Kong and China. Currently imprisoned, she was charged with “inciting subversion” under the new National Security Law on September, 9th 2021 and faces a potential 10-year sentence.
In her debut documentary, producer Tomoko Ako (阿古智子) from the Asian Commons highlights Chow's life of perpetual resistance and her continued advocacy for a better, fairer society. To many, imprisonment is the end of resistance. What does it mean to Chow, who first gained public attention when the threat of imprisonment was at its greatest?
This North American premiere is proudly presented by a joint effort between The Hong Kong Affairs Association of Berkeley (HKAAB) and SF Bay Chinese diaspora community Star Shiner, and we cordially invite everybody to learn about Chow Hang-tung’s story of courage and perseverance in the pursuit of human rights and democracy in Hong Kong. We are also honored to invite activist and the former Secretary General of Hong Kong Federation of Students Alex Chow to share his thoughts and personal experiences with us after the screening.

2024年3月15日，擦星星事务所与HKAAB在加州大学伯克利分校联合举办了阿古智子首次监制的纪录片《幸彤在監獄》（“She's in Jail”）北美首映观影活动。
在这部纪录片中，阿古智子通过结合幸彤参加支联会活动的影像，来自香港、中国、韩国、日本、马来西亚等地受到幸彤的影响的社会活动家和学者的采访，以及幸彤在狱中的书信，尝试还原她面对强权绝不认罪的心理状态。幸彤在2021年6月4日被捕后，在狱中仍然坚持绝食以纪念六四民主运动，当她在法庭被问及是否明白罪名时，大喊“悼念六四无罪”。
昨天观影活动有几十位伯克利学生和旧金山湾区居民到现场支持，大家共同的关注是邹幸彤面临的莫须有罪名的指控案件，以及《国安法》以及《二十三条》通过后香港人权议题的现状。活动结束后，香港前学联秘书长周永康（Alex Chow）先生进行了映后分享，他讲述了自己曾经在香港服刑的经历，以及作为流散香港人如何处理自我身份与现今美国社会议题关系的思考。
