🎥 About the Film
Invisible Nation provides a compelling portrait of Taiwan’s democratic evolution and its ongoing efforts to gain international recognition. The film not only focuses on Taiwan itself, but also raises broader questions about the challenges facing democracies today. Following Taiwan’s first female president, it explores the island’s past, present, and uncertain future. As a young democracy with strong civil liberties and fair elections, Taiwan demonstrates remarkable resilience and strategic leadership while navigating its relationships with China and the United States and seeking its place on the global stage.
