Who Are We?

We are StarShiner 擦星星事务所( Ca Xingxing), a Sinophone activist group dedicated to disseminating information—news, opinions, art, and more—that is currently censored in China.

Where Are We Located?

We are based in the San Francisco Bay Area of the United States.

What is Our Mission?

Our mission is to foster free thought, preserve collective memory, revive civic consciousness, and unite diaspora communities.

Why shine the star?

Somebody has to go polish the stars,
